This course approved by the ACT Work Safety Commissioner is designed primarily for Work Safety Representatives (WSRs) in the ACT to acquire through formal training knowledge and skills across a range of topic areas in order for workplace safety consultation to work in a systematic manner; and to meet the legislative requirements prescribed in the Work Safety ACT 2008 and Work Safety Regulation 2009.
A secondary aim of the course is to outline the role of the OHS Committees and other agreed consultation methods in the workplace.
